Remy W. Trafelet
Mr. Trafelet is a Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager at Trafelet Brokaw & Co. Prior to launching his fund in 2000, Mr. Trafelet was a portfolio manager at Bowman Capital Management where he managed a diversified hedge fund. In addition, he currently serves as a Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Alico, Inc. Mr. Trafelet began his career as an energy, financials, industrials and consumer analyst at the Fidelity Management and Research Company where he emerged as the youngest portfolio manager at Fidelity, running the Select Regional Bank Fund and ranking #1 in the fund’s Lipper category during his tenure. Mr. Trafelet graduated from Dartmouth College with Honors and was named a Presidential Scholar. Mr. Trafelet currently serves as a trustee for Phillips Exeter Academy where he is Chairman of the Investment Committee. Mr. Trafelet is also a board member of the Children’s Scholarship Fund, a member of the Cold Spring Harbor Research Laboratory Investment Committee, a board member of the Boys’ Club of New York, and a trustee of the Museum of the City of New York.
George R. Brokaw
Mr. Brokaw is a Managing Partner at Trafelet Brokaw & Co. Previously, Mr. Brokaw was a Managing Director at Highbridge Capital Management. Prior to joining Highbridge, he held senior positions at Perry Capital, LLC and Lazard. Mr. Brokaw is a member of the board of directors of DISH Network Corporation and Alico, Inc. Mr. Brokaw has previously served as a director to several companies including North American Construction Group, North American Energy Partners Inc., Capital Business Credit LLC, Exclusive Resorts, LLC, Ovation, Timberstar and ValuePlace Holdings LLC. In addition, he is a member of the board of the Carter Burden Center for the Aging. Mr. Brokaw received a B.A. from Yale University, a J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Virginia and is a member of the New York Bar.
